Our client was purchasing a large retail building in London and the drone survey highlighted several areas of remedial works to the roof that our client wouldn’t have known about prior to completing the purchase.

We had several issues with the roof and getting leaks over different areas of a large residential block in North West London. It was costly and impractical to erect scaffolding to investigate these areas. We decided to use SG Drone Surveys Ltd to help us establish the exact nature of the problems. It enabled us to diagnose what needed to be done which turned out to be actually relatively minor remedial works. Had we used scaffolding from day 1, the cost would have run into thousands instead of hundreds of pounds and caused nuisance and disruption to the tenants. The Chartered Surveyor’s report which accompanied the images and video was also helpful in communicating the case of the leaks and remedial works to the residents.

We used this drone survey service prior to completing the purchase of a large warehouse commercial unit in Berkshire. We found the detailed images and videos invaluable in assessing the condition of the roof. Would definitely use again on similar projects.
